Would anyone know what a good price would be for a 1990 Callaway with 19k miles. Teal green, camel interior, friend of the family, one owner, always garaged, not drive for 8 years, not started for two.

Thanks!

pdonahue,

Teal Green?

I know there is a Polo Green Aerobody convertible up in the NE near Callaway that was for sale. The owner, a very nice guy had some health issues and was not able to easily drive it anymore. Here is a picture of the car that I am referring to:

I believe that the owner has the hard top that goes with the car and was serviced by Callaway just before he was no longer able to drive (and shift).

In 1990 and 1991 there were 2 green GM colors. Polo Green (above) and Turquiose Metallic (my car below). Some people refer to Turquoise as teal. Just looking for clarification.

I think everyone realizes that the used car market (even collectibles) is somewhat depressed. Can you give us more details about the options (Aerobody, Dymags, 100+, coupe vs convertible, Brembo Brakes, Coil-over-suspension, etc), condition, and mileage. Those are the major factors that contribute to price.

You can also look in the ongoing cars for sale thread in the Callaway Corvette sub-section of the board which will give you some comparable ads or the Marketplace on the Callaway Owners Group Website

I hope this helps.

Coupe or convertible?

I imagine the car is Turquoise Met., often called "teal"

Turquoise and Yellow were two "late" colors and off the chart for the first part of production for 1990 :wtf Also, Quasar Blue, new for 1990 isn't on the chart, either...

In the 1991 chart, you can see those colors were added to GM sales literature. :hi
